We have been dropping hints all summer.
The 21-day commitment. The daily habit. The colorful, vegetable-forward meal. The farmers market runs. The produce deep-dives. The mention of September 14th every single week.
Today, we are telling you everything.
The Big A$$ Salad Challenge is officially open for registration.
Here is what it is, how it works, why we built it, and why – if you have been following along this summer – you are more ready for this than you know.
The Big A$$ Salad Challenge is a 21-day community nutrition challenge.
Starting September 14th, every registered participant commits to eating one big, intentional, colorful salad every day for 21 consecutive days.
That is it. One meal. Every day. For three weeks.
Not a complete diet overhaul. Not calorie counting. Not restriction. Just one daily act of real, intentional eating – done alongside every other person in the Complete Performance community who registered.
The challenge runs September 14th through October 5th. Which means it wraps up the weekend of the Complete Performance Wellness Fair on October 10th – where we will celebrate the community that showed up and the habits that got built.
One qualifying salad per day. Every day. For 21 days.
A qualifying salad includes:
The salad should be a real meal, not a side dish. It should be something you are genuinely excited to eat, or at least willing to eat every day for 21 days. Creativity is encouraged. Boredom is optional.
Post your salad photo daily to your social media and tag both Complete Performance and Jordan. The community accountability is half of what makes this work.
Registration is $30 per participant.
The pot goes to the winner in a gift card to a local meal prep company made and based right here in the Twin Cities. Winner is selected from participants who completed all 21 days AND gives me digital proof!
Skin in the game changes behavior. The buy-in is small. The accountability it creates is not.

I want to tell you the honest reason this challenge exists.
I have spent years watching women try to change how they eat through willpower alone. Through restriction and deprivation and white-knuckling their way through programs that were designed for a different kind of life.
And I have watched that approach fail. Not because the women lacked commitment. Because the approach lacked a community.
The Big A$$ Salad Challenge is built on a simple premise: one habit, done together, with accountability and a reason to show up every day, changes more than any solo nutrition program ever will.
Twenty-one days of one intentional meal per day. Research on habit formation is clear that this is approximately the threshold at which a daily behavior shifts from conscious effort to automatic default. You are not just eating a salad. You are rewiring how you eat.
And you are doing it with everyone else in this community doing the same thing at the same time.
That collective momentum is something that cannot be replicated by a meal plan or an app. It is the reason people come back to this challenge every year.
For women navigating perimenopause and menopause, this challenge is not just a fun community event. It is a 21-day anti-inflammatory eating protocol hiding inside a community challenge.
Every qualifying salad – dark leafy greens, colorful vegetables, quality protein, healthy fat – hits the menopause nutrition targets we have been talking about all summer. Fiber for gut health and estrogen metabolism. Phytonutrients for inflammation reduction. Protein for muscle preservation. Healthy fat for hormone production and vitamin D absorption.
If you are in this season of life, three weeks of daily intentional salads is a meaningful nutritional investment. The challenge just makes it more enjoyable to do it.
Week 1 – The novelty carries you. Everything feels fresh. The community energy is high. Focus on building a solid template you can repeat.
Week 2 – The novelty fades. Discipline has to carry it. This is where the community accountability becomes essential. Show up for your salad. Post it. Cheer for someone else who is doing the same.
Week 3 – The habit is setting in. By Day 15 or 16 most participants report that the daily salad has started to feel automatic. The decision fatigue is gone. The behavior is becoming yours.
Day 21 – You finished. And something is different about how you think about what you eat.
You have two weeks. Here is how to use them:
Find your base green. Try a few this week and decide what you actually enjoy eating. Romaine holds up well. Kale is heartier and keeps longer. Arugula has a peppery bite that is great with strong proteins.
Build your protein repertoire. You will need to rotate proteins to avoid boredom. Batch cook on Sundays. Keep hard-boiled eggs in the fridge. Know your go-to for busy days.
Hit your farmers market. September produce in Minnesota is exceptional. Tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, corn, roasted beets — peak season, peak flavor, peak nutrition.
Get a good container. If you are eating salads at work, the container matters. A jar or a wide container with a separate dressing section will become your best friend.

We have been building toward this all summer. The seasonal eating. The one-meal habit. The farmers market content. The menopause nutrition conversations. All of it has been pointing at this moment.

We cannot wait to see what this community builds.
